Overview:
Community Board opportunities are local, free, and worth service credits. All opportunities and host organizations have been approved and vetted by OSD. Please note, beyond these posts, OSD is not involved with/does coordinate these opportunities. This is what makes them unique. You need to sign up directly with the organization and complete a service credit report form afterward. Only APU Undergraduate students can earn service credits through these opportunities.
*Community Board is different from local engagement ongoing and one-time opportunities. We simply cannot coordinate every opportunity that comes our way but we do want to make all of them known and accessible to our students. During fall and spring semesters, we provide “ongoing” and “one-time opportunities” which we do coordinate and take care of attendance/service credits. Again for the community board, you need to sign up directly with the organization and fill out the service credit report from afterward.*
